Control Panels

Designing a control panel involves several key considerations to ensure functionality, user-friendliness and safety. Sunlight will listen, job walks, go through all the engineering drawings and project specifications as needed during the development of designing process. Sunlight will review and analyze project specifications to prepare a detailed project submittal, bill of materials, schematics and project plan specification to meet the project requirements.

After clearly understand the purpose and functionality of the control panel, Sunlight will start to build control panel from planning and gathering materials to assembly and testing. Sunlight will choose appropriate brand components to finalize the bill of materials. Sunlight will start preparing software and all the engineering drawings including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation to build the control panel as soon as possible.

Sunlight will perform initial and functional test to make sure it works properly at the shop. Sunlight will test the control panel with the devices it is intended to control/monitor, and Sunlight will verify that signals are properly transmitted and devices respond as expected.

After the installation of control panel, Sunlight will perform field-testing for a complete functional test with all the controls instruments and communication. Sunlight will provide training to users or operators on how to use and maintain the control panel safely and effectively. Schedule regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the panel continues to operate efficiently and safely.

Design of field existing panel upgrade involves careful planning and execution to ensure seamless integration and improved functionality. Sunlight will assess the existing PLC system including hardware, software, functionality and requirements. Prioritize requirements such as compatibility with existing systems, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
